Zucchini chips are good! You need to try! I kinda browned these a bit too much, but they still tasted great.
- 2 zucchinis
- crushed salt
- garlic powder (optional)
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Very thinly slice your zucchini (I used a mandolin slicer) and place on a silpat sheet or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Make sure that they are not over lapping!
- Very lightly season with crushed salt and/or your choice of seasonings. (I put WAY too much salt on mine the first go around….remember they will shrink up a lot so the spices and seasonings will be more concentrated.)
- Place in oven and bake for around 30 min. Watch carefully to prevent burning!
NOTE: I was kinda in a hurry when I was trying these, so this is a quick version of how they can be made. I have seen recipes where the chips are cooked in the oven at 150-200 degrees for a couple hours. There are also recipes out there that use food dehydrators for the chips. Yellow squash can be used also. Have fun!
