Like many of you, I am a huge Pinterest fan. I found this pin for a frozen pumpkin dessert and knowing that I had all ingredients on hand, made it immediately. Oh. My. Goodness.
By the way, NEVER throw away bananas you think are too ripe to eat! Peel them, put them in a freezer bag, and throw into your freezer to save for later! I was so glad I had already frozen bananas when I saw this little gem. I also use them for banana bread and banana pancakes too!
- 4 Frozen bananas
- 1/2 C Pumpkin Puree
- 1/2 C-1C Vanilla almond milk (or nondairy milk of choice,I actually had soy “Seasonal Nog” and it turned out yummm)
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground Clove (be very careful not too add too much more than this)
- Pinch brown sugar
- Using a very high speed blender, throw all ingredients in and start to blend adding more milk if necessary. You may need to start out with pulsing and then get it going faster. Serve immediately.
